The Story
From 1935 to 1938, at least twelve victims were found dismembered in the Kingsbury Run shantytown and surrounding Cleveland areas. Safety Director Eliot Ness led the investigation. Only two victims were identified. Suspect Frank Dolezal died in custody after questionable interrogation. The Mad Butcher was never convicted.
